You will deepen your knowledge of Xhosa culture. You will learn to navigate everyday situations by expressing yourself with essential words and phrases, ensuring you don’t feel lost in moments of need.
Practice your pronunciation!
Knowing typical words and expressions is not enough. To truly connect with others, you need to pronounce words correctly. In this course, we will focus extensively on improving your pronunciation, helping you speak with confidence.

The course is designed for English speakers. Since English and Xhosa are very different languages, I explain most concepts in English to help you grasp the fundamentals more easily. This approach ensures a smoother and more accessible transition to Xhosa.
No prior knowledge of the language is required.
The beginner's course is tailored for those starting from scratch, covering the absolute basics. However, it's also ideal for advanced beginners, as the lessons gradually become more challenging to accommodate different skill levels.
COURSE STRUCTURE
This video provides an overview of the course structure, including the videos and additional materials.
The course is divided into 17 modules for a total of 8h of content, featuring over 100 video lessons and many quizzes. I recommend following the sessions in order, as the course is designed to build your knowledge progressively and logically.
You can rewatch as many times as needed to reinforce your learning.
All videos are presented in FULL HD, and you can adjust the playback speed, audio, and video quality to suit your preferences.
